Two questions been searching all night with no luck :-

Where is the music database now located in the new version ?

Can thi sbe edited away from MP IE with a seperate app ??

since Windows have changed the way the program files security works, the new location for all changing data in MP is c:\program data\team mediaportal\mediaportal\.

The doesn't seem too much consistency with different windows versions, so sometimes it will be in C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal. There are some other different variations as well. It all depends on your windows installation.

the database is an SQLLite database and can be edited with SQLLite editor. I can't find a download for it at the moment, but it used to ship with earlier versions of MediaPortal.
