I see. It's a very "specialyzed product. Sounds nice if you need the features. Some of these features could not be done with MP as you already said in a previous post.
As for artist art, the image will be displayed if called folder.jpg in shares view. It will not be displayed if called something else. If not in shares view, it will be displayed if named folder.jpg or *jpg or *.png and if folder is populated with media files (.mp3). This is the conclusion i've drawn from what I have read/tested.
rtv has been kind enough to prepare a small application which would enable a folder.jpg (maybe *.jpg) to be taking into account by the db (scan) even though there is no media file within that folder (artist folder in my case). I know this is not the perfect solution for you as you didn't want to rename all you arts folder.jpg. But if rtv's application can work with *.jpg you might be on your way !!!
I'll try it out as soon as I get back home (few days). If you haven't tryed it yet with your setup, I will test it with *jpg to see if rtv's application could work for you.
