Music Playback / Browsing Issue in 1.6 (1 Viewer)

Not long done a fresh install of 1.6 and everything seems to working as it should but.... when browsing music the layout is incorrect, the ".." for going up a level are being shown between tracks 9 and 10 rather than at the top before track 1. This is also causing an odd issue when playing back tracks 1-9 as i can have for example track 4 highlighted, select play and it starts track 3 instead - tracks after the .. select / play ok.

I can get the list correct by changing the sort order on the left menu but the changes are lost when leaving the album. Attached are a couple of screen grabs which probably show the issue better than i can explain it lol

Sorry to bump an old / self post but tried just about everything i can think of to resolve this issue and keep drawing a blank :-( The screenies above are in folder view but the problem affects the database views too.

Can anyone shed some light on things as its a pain to have to manually resort the view every time a new folder / album is navigated too?
