Hi everyone, hope someone can assist with this. I've seena similar issue reported on the forum here but I'm certain it's a different issue.
This all started after I did a big reorganisation of my lusic folders, converted some files from m4a to mp3, re tagged them in Media Monkey, added some files, took some away. I did a Music Database Reorganise from within MePo, and then went to check how it'd got on, but on clicking on any artist, there were no albums. I went back and forth with this a few times, with no luck. For some reason I tried SWITCH VIEW to ALBUM ARTISTS (by default I had view by Artist) and I could browse to the albums, and then on to the files, but I try and play them and MePo appears to close immediately. Odd thing is, in Task Manager, it's still running, and if I open MePo Config, I usually get the "Mediaportal is still running" dialogue. The audio doesn't play.
I have also had a problem with the Last.fm player, which I believe started at the same time (actually just retesting now, it's got worse!). I can start a stream fine, and usually can click to another track fine, but if I allow it to prgress to the next track, it doesn't play it, it just freezes up MePO entirely. This morning however, I've just tried to start a stream and the system has frozen up. Unfortunately when this happens, I have to log the user off to get control of my system back!
Can anyone help? I have a party coming up, and I'd really like to use MePo for the music!
