Music player skips songs (1 Viewer)

This has been a recurrent problem in the last months. I have MP present me the music files as shares (directory/file). Whenever I play a directory it tends to skip the second song in the list and sometimes other files. I can move the selector to the skipped song and it plays just fine.

Let's say I have 8 songs:

I enter the directory and select song 1. After it's played, It'll play song 3, song 4, song 6 ...
While at it I may select song 2 and it will play it, then it'll play song 3, song 4, song 5, song 6 ... perhaps song 7 or it'll just skip to song 8.

It doesn't seem to follow any pattern at all.

That sounds really strange. But in MP 1.2.0.0 (Beta) the handling of this has changed quite a lot (playing a track in a folder now adds the whole folder to the playlist and plays the playlist).

It maybe a bit overkill, but why not try MP 1.2.0.0 Beta? (Make a backup first).

Otherwise please start MP in Debug Mode (start Menu), recreate the problem and post the logs here as then we can debug whats happening.
