music scan within mp no longer adding to db (1 Viewer)

Skin: 3dmp blue
Windows Version: WinXP SP2
CPU Type: Pentium M 1.7
Memory: 768MB

Seems like something has broken the ability to scan for new music within mediaportal. I first noticed this after installing 0.2, but it may have been around for longer than that.
When you right click a share, select 'scan', mp goes through all the motions but no changes are actually made to the database. Happens with 3 different MP pc's I've tested it on. Database scanning from the config ap works fine (but takes forever).

Same with me, tough i never used it from there.

The reorganise database command in MP -> Settings -> My Music also works, however, like the MP configuration command, takes ages.

Still doesn't beat the time it took WMP11 on Vista to scan my collection though - took over three times as long as MP.
