    Hi Chefkoh,

    yes i noticed it yesterday.
seems to be a problem with a thread being scanning the directory.
    don't have a solution yet.
i'm on a business trip from tommorow for the whole next week, so it might take 2 weeks before i have a fix for that.

    regards,

    Helmut

Finally had time for looking into this issue.
Albums should now no longer be added multiple times.

i first thought it ís a problem with sqlite.
at the end it was a problem in my code. :)

Music Share watcher not working properly in MP1 RC2 (latest SVN)

Hi Hwahrmann (I hope this post is still active)

MP version: MP1 RC2 (latest SVN)
O/S: Windows XP Pro Service Pack 3

I have never been able to get the Music Share Watcher plugin to work properly and would like to use it as my 5000+ database of songs takes a while to rescan. When deleting a folder with an album, the database gets updated and the album is missing when viewing "albums" in MP. When I add a folder with an album, nothing gets updated, also nothing in the musicsharewatcher.log. When I go to "Share" view, browse to the album and start playing a song, switch back to "album" view, then I can see the new album.

I have tried using the plugin as well as disabling the plugin and using the musicsharewatcher.exe, both gives the same result. My share is locally on my HTPC.

I will attach the relevant logs. Any help will be appreciated as I would love to use this functionality to its full extent.

Thanks to all the Devs for such an amazing piece of open source software
