music view needs a facelift (1 Viewer)

After using xmbc for a while, i kinda like they library music view.
Couple of things missing in mediapoortals music database are:
-Artist view(and not this alphabetical artist view that is currently used)
-compilation tag as in xbmc , and itunes. Thank god there is this option for everything else than
discography.
- artist info, album info automatic downloading for the library

Is there any way the devs can look into this??

Check out the "Music Views" section in MP Configuration. You might be able to get (close to) what you want by adjusting these. Try creating a new view, copy all lines from the existing "Artists" view, except for the first line. Add missing images of artists in the "ProgramData\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal\Thumbs\Artists" (or something like that) folder. (or Documents and Setting\All Users\Application Data\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal\thumbs\Artists)
