Multishortcut runs a DLLfix which randomly assigns a unique plugin ID - in this case it's 5725. But whether it creates an XML file I don't know. where would I find it, or create it if necessary?

What did you do? I was trying to remember how this all worked - I think you just need to create an <pluginname>.xml and hyperlink to plugin id that was generated

I found the contents of a basic XML file:

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8" standalone="yes"?>
<window>
<id>5725</id>
</window>
<!--Checksum:7c57c23457c374b0735dbc85be47793d-->

Then changed the ID to the number created by the multishortcut dllfix and saved it as:

C:\ProgramData\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal\skin\Mustayaluca\nevermisstv.xml

And your menu editor picked it up in the xml list. You beauty!

Loving this skin, very complete and very minimal which I like... Beautiful layout... I would love to get involved and will log away shortly...

One quick question though, it is in regard to performance... The skin seems to be very slow in the basichome section, very slow and sluggish.. Any ideas, is this possibly just a limition on my systems behalf.

I have a decent system as my system specs will show you... I did also notice this sluggishness with StreamedMP as well..

Is it possible to add the Lyric on the hidden menu in the music section? Picture included. When I want to see the lyric for the song, I have to choose it from the Basic menu.

If that's the music playlist screen... the buttons for scrobbling are missing. You can add a lyrics button, but if you enable the scrobbler plugin there is no space for an extra butoon in the menu list, max 10 buttons

Oh by the way - PR - you say you don't have a TV server to work on. I have a spare PCI DVB-T card that I could lend you if that would help your development?

Thanks Si, I actually have a BlackGold card in my HTPC, but the flats I live in won't let me put up a dish or aerial Maybe somebody knows of a REALLY good indoor digital antenna?

Bloody landlords!!

Can't recommend anything to be honest. None I've tried are any good. Unless you live very close to the transmitter, in which case you might be in luck if your flat's at the right side of the block, the wind blows in the right direction, and the gods treat you favourably!

A quick search on t'web brings back some recommendations for this:

And if you can afford £10 then maybe worth a punt, but I'm not convinced.

Something else I noticed in the skin, by the way, is recording when in the TV Guide. Press the record button on the remote and the record menu is transparent. Check out the screenshot.

Updates... Not in SVN yet as needs more testing

Fixed some rating stars were doubled up, gfx error.
Added widebanner to TV Series views.
Fixed problem where rating stars sometimes did not appear in MovPics and TV Series.
Fixed TV tuning details screen.
Fixed record dialog in TV guide.
Complete rework of video and TV OSD (incl. zap dialog), new gfx created to match original release.
Fixed TV no signal.
Changed Trailers form YouTube to IMDB in MovPics.
Reworked playlist gfx and screens.
Reworked NowPlaying screen, fixed error where love/ban dialogs popup.
Added support for Extensions plugin.
All TV (and OSD) changes need testing and screenshots posted for errors.

Is the TVOSD in pics 6 and 10 supposed to be over to the left

Love how professional the design of this skin is and how smooth looking the OSD is. I might redo a few screens in Essence-1080p and I might borrow some of the GFX from you, if you have no objections.

Just 1+ year in development of Essence-1080p, how do you do these things so fast and professional? :envy:
