I just installed the latest version of this skin without any problems (when selecting all plugins in the installer). When I start MP with Mustayaluca as the selected skin at first everything is normal. The loading screen is shown but then I only see the desktop. When pressing the arrow keys on my remote I hear the klick sounds, so MP must be active, but is not shown. After that I changed skin back to Avalon and it works. Another change to Mustayaluca resulted in the same problem: MediaPortal runs, but I do not see it. If I change the skin inside MP (and not the configuration) I see the skin at least but without any text. I think this is normal as I had the same problem with Maya in the past. Any ideas?

I think this happens when the skin's fonts aren't properly installed.

I thought so, too. So I installed them manually after the skin install using the archive from Google Code. But they do not show up in C:\Windows\Fonts. If I try to install them again it says they are already installed, but I do not see them. Is there a way to get this work?

Now it works. I deleted the fonts with Free Commander from C:\Windows\Fonts and after a restart installed them again. Windows still told me that the fonts were already installed, but now they show up in Windows' fonts folder and MediaPortal with Mustayaluca works.

Just installed this skin and its really a lovely skin, well done on all the work so far.
I'm having a small issue though.
Once launched I don't get the usual screen with the listings in large letters at the bottom and the pop up graphics images. All I get is a brownish page with everything listed on the left. I'm assuming Its possibly something I have to change in the options screen? Only problem is it says menusystem.xml is missing or corrupt.. I've checked its missing.
Once I move into Moving pictures or another sub category its fine just the main page is a problem.


Sorted it! Found another config in proccess and changed to basic home screen.
Am getting font overlapping in places but hardly a deal breaker..

I would like to remove the "Playing Now:" part from the overlay on the skin because I think that is quite obvious. I want it to only show the artist name. Can anybody explain to me which files I should edit to make these small changes? Thanks in advance guys!

I would like to see the artist name, name of the album and the name of the song. If you would change the XML regarding your idea, I would be interested in it.

Trevor is looking into updating the GUI plugin, so hopefully he can check what's going on here...

Thanks for all the work that's been put into this skin its truly is one of the nicest skins available in my opinion!

I have an issue with videos link. I have added it to the menu but the link doesn't take me to the path i have set in MP configuration. I have looked but can't find where i can set the link manually. Once it took me to my music and the other time it comes up blank.

Did you by chance restart after installing the skin? My font on the basichome were all messed up and one plugin said wrong xml file when clicked until I restarted and everything was fine. Worth a try if you havent already.
