Did you check Install TVSeries? That triggers this error, try without install the TVSeries and you should be fine.

doesn't work with TV Series and without TV Series!

Before the Update, it was a good Skin for me, now i'm switching back to another Skin!
Hope that coming soon a fix !

Unchecked TV-series, MovingPictures and Online Videos during the installation and then it worked

edit:
Installer completed, but there is no Mustayaluca in the skin-selector overview.

edit 2:

Ran installed again this time I only ran it without tv-series and now it works.

Is it possible that in the new version that the context menu in the TVSeries has changed? Now I don't see to retrieve the subtitles as I could in the earlier version.

Well it's still not working for me and there has been no feedback from the developer for 5 days. If I uncheck the TV-Series option then the install hangs completely . It says

Please wait....
Mustayaluca skins and selected plugins are being installed.

and then it does nothing and eventually the windows say not responding. Very frustrating for what is supposed to be generating some buzz for a new skin that it can't be tried out..

Would very much like an updated version and if I can help with diagnosing the problem further let me know.

Have you unchecked every plugins in the setup? Also delete the Mustayaluca folder in the skins folder. And if you install any plugins, there will be another setup window for some plugins, e.q. MovingPictures. If this doesn't work, I can't think of anything else.

same here. if I uncheck every plugin there won't get anything installed but the installer runs through!

All Mustayaluca skin files is placed in the Moving Pictures option in the MPE installer file by mistake. You need to check Moving Pictures when installing (you can cancel the Moving Pictures installer if you wish) or Mustayaluca will not be installed.

Download and install the plugins your having problems with separately.
Mine wouldn't install correctly either and it was hanging on MP-TV Series so I installed that first and then installed Mustayaluca after.
Same could be said of the Moving Pictures as I believe it has the same developer..
