I've been using the plugin for the past couple weeks (using 2.0.15.0 RC2 at the moment) and I noticed that number commands don't work on the F9 popup. Instead of picking a selection inside the popup, pressing a number brings up the search window in the background, which is slightly confusing when you already have the F9 popup active, and it can actually switch the actively selected item behind the popup.

FYI, I tried this using a regular keyboard and a Harmony remote programmed as an MCE remote. I don't know if it's a feature or a bug, but with the new deeper menu structure, it would definitely be nice to be able to navigate with just numbers instead of moving the cursor to the right selection. Some plugins (like the Last.FM radio) do this for popup menus already.

Thanks for the excellent plugin though. 2.0.15.0 resurrected about 8 series that were lost in limbo! :D

That was definitely a bug. The keyboard hook used to catch find keys was a bit too greedy ...
I've fixed this in 2.0.15.

Please be aware that AnimeDB is case-sensitive for password and user-name!

I would recommend you check also if you entered both exactly as for AnimeDB

    Cheers,

    Both exactly as for AnimeDB.
I tried several times in several days and always gives the same error message.
Is there a tutorial with all the settings MyAnime2 or this problem is not related to the configuration details.
The port of the server 9000 and client 4555, must be configured on the firewall, or is it automatic?
    Tks.

Well, if I have unrecognized files, then it won't login.
    I don't know why.

So you have to first add the unrec. files manually with the manager, than it should work.

    Manually...
Retype several times, and carefully, username and password. The problem remains: Other: LoginFailed: ...
See attachments: I performed the test on ports 4555 and 9000.
    Tks.

That shouldn't be the case. I have currently 19 unrecognized files (they are there for weeks ... I really have to clean up), and recognizing new files is never a problem.

There is known issue with the AniDB connection: if the logout didn't happen properly, a new login won't be accepted for several hours (I believe it's 24 hours). It's a new kind of security feature of the AniDB API, added a few weeks ago.
In the previous versions (before 2.0.14) the plugin didn't log off properly ... hence the repeated LoginFailed problems. We fixed that in 2.0.14, but occasionally it still happens (in my case it happened once this week).

@els: Do you ever succeed in connecting with AniDB? Can you try waiting a day and try again?
