    I can't see anything wrong in the Anime2.log file, in the MediaPortal.log there is one error which is unrelated to this plugin (I think):

    I'm not sure if these logs are generated when MediaPortal closed itself? MediaPortal erases the previous log when it's restarted, so if these logs weren't created when the problem occurred, all traces of it will have been erased.
    If these logs weren't saved immediately after an automatic restart, could you please wait until the problem re-occurs and post the logs again.

    This is all a bit strange. I have been running the 2.1.0 RC for a week without any problem.

    Login works again, Was my fault. I had to wait again after a wrongly logout.
    I will look if I can get an error log from the dot.net config problem.

    This is all a bit strange. I have been running the 2.1.0 RC for a week without any problem.
    If you encounter any problem, could you please post a short description and the MyAnime2.log and MediaPortal.log file here?

    Login works again, Was my fault. I had to wait again after a wrongly logout.
    I will look if I can get an error log from the dot.net config problem.

    You seem to be missing a method in core.dll which should be there. Are you by any chance running MediaPortal 1.1.0? After a quick check I can't find the specific function in the beta version ... I'll have to find another way to list all possible languages (which work in both 1.0 and 1.1).

    EDIT: The referenced function has indeed been removed in MP 1.1.x, and apparently none of the devs run MP 1.1.0 so we didn't catch this in the RC. I have fixed this in the next release.

    I don't think this has been suggested yet, and my search came up empty, but i had a suggestion for a "feature"...much like the TV Series plugin has a main "series" selection, and then a separate screen for "seasons", would it be possible to create a view mode to "group" series that are alike together? Anidb provides this information, so for example, you could have:

    Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei
    |
    |-Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei
    |-Zoku Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei
    |-Goku Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei
    |-Zan Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei

    This information can be gotten from AniDB (example: http://anidb.net/perl-bin/animedb.pl?show=rel&aid=6509)

    That way like series can be grouped together, and i don't have as infinitely long a list to go rooting through when looking for a show (for example, "One Piece currently takes up 7 slots in my anime list, with the series, and 6 movies, bleach takes 4, naruto takes 4, etc.)

    Is this possible? Your thoughts, gentlemen?

    Unless I understand you wrong, I think this feature already exists since the beginning. All series are always in a group, but by default a group is created per series. If a group contains only one series, the series view will be skipped when you open the group.
    In the configuration dialog you can move series between groups, and since the last version (2.1.0) you can also change groups from within the plugin. To merge 2 groups you open the shortcut menu for the selected series (F9 if you use a keyboard) -> edit group -> merge with other group -> select a group. To change a series' group you do something similar.

    You can view the related series (again with the shortcut menu), but it's currently not possible to group related series automatically. Maybe that could be implemented at a later date.

    I have looked into it, but I'm not sure what's happening at the moment. I have never encountered this problem before, and on my 2 machines the search function works flawless.

    The problem has something to do with DirectX, but we're not using that directly ... maybe it's caused by a conflicting plugin?
    Also, what version of MediaPortal are you using, 1.0.x or 1.1.X?

    Hm - 1.1.0.0 I would say - but the config says 1.0.4.23477

    This wasn't happening with the last version - I have attached now all the Logs - what's realy strange is that it happens exactly when you type the third charakter ...


    The only plugins I'm using are TV series and Moving Pictures.

    Is is it possible to put multiple id's from anidb/tvdb/moviedb so that the pictures switch from different season's in the group view?

    An example what I mean:

    Code Geass pics from R1+R2
    - Code Geass R1 pics from R1
    - Code Geass R2 pics from R2

    Gundam 00 pics from season 1 and 2
    - Gundam 00 Season 1 pics from season 1
    - Gundam 00 Season 2 pics from season 2

    I want that all pictures like from ovas, special ep, movie and the series itself show, when your in group view.
