You can try opening the 'About' window and checking for updates there.
But this will probably give you the same issue.

Are you able to browse to the following webpage?
http://jmm.hobbydb.net.leaf.arvixe.com/jmmdesktop/

I should probably have mentioned that JMM Desktop updates just fine on my personal computer, but JMM Server on my Windows Home Server is the one that seems to fail to update. On my WHS machine, I can browse to that page just fine.

Latest changes working nicely, however I can't rename manually linked files.
Most of these are your typical bad download where the hash gets mucked up but, some of mine hash correctly, as AniDB's client is able to rename them. A few of these work themselves out on a rescan but not all.

It would practically be impossible to rename manually linked files, since they don't have any linked AniDB information which is needed for renaming.
If AniDB's client is able to rename them it means it has found the file.
I would suggest you try removing the manual link on one of those files, go back to the Unrecognized File utility, and press the "re-hash" button to see if it gets it the second time.

I don't know too much about WHS.
I might need to try running it in a virtual machine to see if I can replicate the problem.
In the mean time if you want to do a manual update you can get the full package from the following location
http://jmm.hobbydb.net.leaf.arvixe.com/jmmserver/jmmserver.all.to.3.1.12.zip

Copy everything within the base folder over the top of your existing JMM Server files, you won't lose any config info.

Release 3.1.13

Only JMM Server

  • Issue #260: MP Plugin does not Play files (only sqlite user affected)

Yes of course now that I think about it the manual link is only to the episode not to any of the meta data isn't it.
Luckily I don't have too many manual links so I can do the renaming my self.

Regarding the files that the AniDB client does hash and rename correctly but MyAnime3 seems to miss, I have done a rehash several times, many of the files do clear up however I am still left with some that refuse to link up. Again there aren't that many in all and I shouldn't worry about it.

If you do find files that WebAOM or another client is able to process, but JMM doesn't please PM me the details and I will try to take a look.

The hash I get for this file is
E7AA966B7F77EA7FE624D90EE08C763B

Which doesn't match any of the files on AniDB?

EDIT: And the reason it doesn't match is because JMM is generating the wrong hash.
It is probably a re-occurrence of the bug for files under 9MB

I will take a look

EDIT 2: This is fixed and will go out with the next release

Cool, hadn't noticed the mismatches were all on small files, but a quick check confirmed it.
Thanks

Looks like there was a bug in the new version of wyUpdate (a third party product that JMM uses).

If automatic updates are not working for you, please trying running the following at the command prompt.

rmdir /s /q "%userprofile%\wc"

This will remove the wupdate cache

Whenever I try to use the Avdump2 function it never works, it just says Error next to the files I'm trying to dump. Is there anything I need to setup other than my Avdump API key?
