I did a quick search and don't see this issue reported:

I have a large number of Duplicate Files. Upon further inspection, it appears that the server is catching the same file as it moves from the 'drop source' 'watch folder' to the 'drop destination' folder. When I attempt to view or delete the 'missing' file (since it moved to the drop destination), I receive a "File could not be found" error. Refreshing and Re-evaluate does not remove the entries. I've manually checked, and only one copy of the file exists on the server. Virtually every file I place into the 'drop source' 'watch folder' gets flagged as a duplicate after it's moved to the 'drop destination' folder. I've literally got thousands of false duplicates.

I had a dozen or so of these 'ghost' files also. They cleared up after running 'Remove missing files' under the server tab.
Or did you already try this?

First and foremost let me say that this is an absolute great application. I built my HTPC specifically for anime and then found out there was very little support for it. I actually configured my HTPC to use Media Browser and then came across this great application. After several hours of manipulating, I think I have it as needed for the most part.

With that said, I am having one issue, how do I change the art on a series that has been automatically downloaded? For example, I have the series "Ah! Megami-sama" and while the series synopsis and episode titles seems to be correct, the problem is the Art files, it is showing images from the TV series "Boss" for both the series and the episode. I also have one more series that is having a similar problem.

Any help with fixing the art would be greatly appreciated!

    There are 2 ways:
to break the link use F9/right mouse to go into the menu
There you have databases -> either TV-DB / Trakt -> "remove association"
This would delete the wrong link to the respective dBs (and associated artworks)
Otherwise you can go to in the Menu to Images -> Fanart and individually deselect artworks

    Cheers,

as yhoogi said, that is the best way from MA3

It also might be easier to do it from JMM Desktop
Find the anime in the collection tab
Scroll down to the TvDB and other links section
    Change the link there

Also if you let me know what other links are wrong I can adjust them on the web cache, so other new users get the "admin approved" links.

Thanks a lot for the info, worked like a charm.

I also want to make sure that I am doing my import correctly as I have several dozen files that come up in my unrecognized tab. My understanding from reading is that this should happen very rarely since I do not encode any of my own files and 99% of them come from BT downloads. For example all of "Deadman Wonderland" is coming up as unrecognized, all of "Dog Days", "Shinsengumi Kitan", Manyuu Hiken-Chou" and then a few other random episodes from series. Yesterday I used the manual link option on the right of the "Utilities" tab and had to click "new series" for about 95% of them and I THINK they are properly linked now, however I want to make sure I am doing this correct as well as have the proper setup. Thanks and I appreciate the help!

Another question I have is with AVDump, I have installed it correctly, set up the key, and it works, however I have no idea WHY i would use it. Reading the wiki it appears that it will decode the file information about codec type, bitrate, quality, ect. However is that something I should do on every file in my collection or just the ones I manually link? Is it done automatically on the ones that are not manually linked? Sorry for the newbie question, but other than HOW to set it up (which I have properly done) I dont know what I would use it for.

Finally, I saw it posted earlier in the thread, but is there a way to run JM Server at startup and have it start without having to manually accept the UAC? I have selected to run as ADMIN, however it still prompts me at each system start to accept the UAC. Thanks!

Could be for a number of reasons
    - When you were doing the import AniDB was not responding
    - Your files are corrupt
    - There is an error in the hashing
    - The files have not been added to AniDB yet

First thing I would do is delete the manual link on one of your files, and then go back to the Unrecognized tab.
Look at the ED2K hash for that file on the AniDB website and make sure it matches your local file
    If it doesn't match
    - Your file is corrupt
    - OR Is not added to anidb

If the hash does match, just try pressing the re-scan button. If that doesn't work try the rehash button.

Avdump is for adding files to AniDB.
A lot of the time files get released by sub groups, and then not added to AnIDB until days later or not at all.
Using avdump, u can upload the info yourself.

Lastly, sorry there is still no automatic work around for UAC.
But for myself it only asks me for a UAC prompt the first time I run a new version, as long as I selcted the check box to trust this application from now on.

Thanks a lot for the advice and info. I will check the hashes in AniDB. I assume the only way to do that is to navigate to the anime series page, then click the episode number, then locate the sub group, and then click the "edit" button under "Action" on the far right hand side? Or is there an easier way to do that?

My other question is about running Utorrent while the server/desktop is running. I have my anime downloads going directly into my "Media" folder which is the same one that JM Server searches and imports from. Is this a problem? I would assume not. Also, would this potentially be the cause of my files not being recognized as they may potentially be getting imported into the server prior to the complete file being downloaded hence there may be some issue with the hash files?

    Thanks!

    1. Yes that is the only way sorry

    2. Yes this could be a problem, because JMM might be trying to hash incomplete files.
The way I do it is to have uTorrent download files into a temporary folder, and when they are complete move them to another folder (this is a uTorrent option)
