I'm getting fail errors when updating JMMServer saying that the file is still in use.

Can you try the following...

Make sure jmmserver.exe is not running (kill the process if you have to)
Go the JMM Server folder and run wyupdate.exe

This should allow you to update

I'm getting the same error as cunnox when opening the plugins page in MediaPortal's Configuration.exe:

Plugin Manager

An error occurred while loading the plugin
MyAnimePlugin3.MainWindow.

It's incompatible with the current MediaPortal version and won't be loaded.

I'm using MediaPortal ver. 1.2.3 and MyAnime3 ver. 3.1.14, and JMM Server is up to date.
It worked perfectly when I tested it the first time (a glorious plugin, many thanks to everyone who worked on it!). It stopped working shortly afterwards, apparently after I set the "time before search function fades out" or something similar to "0" (don't ask).
Reinstalling the plugin hasn't helped, and I haven't yet gotten around to doing a full MP reinstall.

Any idea what could be causing this?

Could you attach the media portal myanime.log here

You can probably try reverting that setting by manually editing the mediaportal.xml file.
I'll let you know the name the next time I'm on my pc

Thanks! That worked.
I tried it again, and setting "Close find panel after __ seconds" ("findtimeout" entry in MediaPortal.xml) to "0" does indeed result in that "incompatible" error.

Thanks a ton for the quick response, saved me a bit of time. I'll get you that log if you still want it.

I could have sworn there use to be an option to auto start JMMserver. I've been putting the shortcut in my startup folder. But it doesn't start minimized.

There is no option to auto start.
But there is an option to minimize on startup
