Can you guys tell what at least needs to be in the plugin to make it usable for you? Zapping with the remote is still not possible but will be the next couple of weeks. Choosing from the channel menu is possible because of the menu structure, so watching will not be a problem.

just watching for me it will be more than enough. But i have a few questions.
1) Will this plugin use the normal TV plugin of MP (i.e. Same OSD)
2) Recording? Will it be possible to record channels

No the plugin will be an individual plugin, because the tv plugin is handled differently, maybe I go find a way to build an API to make the Dreambox Plugin handled by the TV interface of MP, but first releases will not.
The Dreambox records programs itself and handles the output through the Enimga stream server in the box, recordings are made by adding timers (this will be done through the Dreambox Plugin) and watching recordings is also part of the first plugin release.
Thanks,
