1. Pester Quarter for plugin name
   
2. Finish plugin base (process,window,comm,language,settings files)
   
3. Add rss support (have code already)
   
4. Set/Build scraper for "Event finder" (we will add more sites later)
   
5. Skin files
   
6. Test Alpha

i think a themed skin would be ugly =) , what NZ applications did u have in mind exactly?

I don't mean a kiwi themed skin, wouldn't be useful for other users. Fastfood, Streaming Tv plugins etc, the type of stuff that others find difficult to do from other countries. I'm sure you would have some of your own ideas as well.

I would think food is a gimic, the only NZ themed apps I could suggest are:

TVNZ on demand
- Ability to stream videos
- Ability to choose a series, and automatically capture/download each episode as it becomes available (not implemented)

Showtimes
- Support for hoyts/rialto listings, as well as links to trailers (implemented)

both plugins already exist, although tvnz on demand is still an infant and I havn't tried showtimes in a while.


Actually an additional plugin that would be nice would be Jagg gig guide =)

Tv 3 would also be good too, no support for that just yet. But none of this will be available for MP2 for some time which is why I thought we might be able to work on the apps we want first. I think making a skin for MP2 would be a good start though.

lol I don't think it is that far away, well at-least I hope not, then it is a bit early.

I'm still a beginner when it comes to programming, so I hope we have some skilled people in NZ. I think at the moment MPs main developers are all German. Be good to show these guys up

atleast that long, if not longer...

I imagine ur looking at >1 year until it gets to a level it can replace MP 1.

Well could do something for MP1, maybe give the gig guide ago. See if any others are wanting to get involved.

Personally I would like the gig guide, especially if it could also log into your facebook and display the upcoming events from that as well integrated with the jagg gig guide.
