Not being able to understand the pattern i went into a research of action combinations and discovered the following:1) If i load mediaportal and go to Tract/Recommended/ Recommended Movies and select a movie that is already in the library then mediaportal crashes (and burns)2) If i first go to Mediaportal config/Trakt config and visit the excluded movie list (without doing any changes whatsoever), close the config and then load Mediaportal, then mediaportal does not crash when selecting recommended trakt movie that already exists in the library but takes me to the movie page instead (as it should do)Wow...try to figure that one out..lol..anyhow i am happy since i now know a way to make the problem go away.
