In MyFilms 5, AMC Updater - the utility to globally update your Ant Movie Catalog or Scan/Add new movies, has been integrated into MyFillms.

AMC Updater is used in MyFilms whenever you 'Get Internet Info' or perform 'Global Updates > Update DB (AMC Updater). It can still be used as a separate application or mini database manager.

Please report issues relating to AMC Updater in this thread. Be sure to always include your MyFilmsAMCupdater.log when reporting possible issues.

In AMCu, when looking for internet info, sometimes a window appear asking to select the correct movie. In that window there is a button "Ignore and rename" Why ignore? Couldnt it be renamed and downloaded the info in this scan?

From user perspective you're completely right. However, this would require more internal changes. My intension was to make it easier for users to correct naming in the process - that's why I added that feature. Currently, it would rename media, ignore the media in current scan and you would have to rescan to get it detected with new name after current scan has finished.
If this tends to be used more widely, we could think about further improving it.
There is more things to discuss - like how to handle multi part movies etc.

I got these errors when scanning 2 videos in AMCu using imdb.es script:

 - ERROR : Error on Internet Lookup for La matanza de texas II\La Matanza De Texas 2.avi : El índice y la longitud deben hacer referencia a una ubicación en la cadena.

thanks for reporting; I can reproduce it on the first one, but not on the second one. Are you using a modified imdb.es script? If yes, please post the version you used.

THe first issue is fixed. I added code to avoid exception in AMCU - plus updated IMDB.ES script for better results (attached). You could check yourself, if you want: use the movie title in Grabber Interface and load preview - with old script you'll find a dupe entry at the beginning with same imdb id and link, but without year. This was caused by the page restriction not including the "Aproximados" - so I added it to the start: #REGEX#Populares|Exactos|Parciales|Aproximados
The "wrong one" then disappears in result list.
However, I could not reproduce the second one. Error message seems to indicate you have an existing record in your database with missing original title - is that possible? I added a check for that as protection code, so this error should not appear in future version, if it is caused by this.

All my scanned films have number "0" in AMC. I tried with imdb and imdb.es grabbers, and the error occurs with both.

thanks for reporting - I already discovered that on my own tests - and it is already fixed for the next release.

This bug also introduced errors / exceptions for multi part movies - so if anybody encounters those, this is related.
