don't know why but when I want to import my newest recordings I'm becoming always the following log entries:

It's at the forth step "Update Movie DB" when importing my data.

Don't know why. I updated to the last version yesterday.

that seems to be an issue indeed - not sure, if it is related to ts-files (I never tested them).
To make reproduction easier, could you please provide your MyFilmsAMCSettings_<yourconfig>.xml?

In amc forum probably there would be great interest on this such a powerful tool. I think they may not know it.

Yes they probably would z3us, and I have thought of it also. But I would like to keep Guzzi working on MyFilms and I fear supporting all those AMC users would end up taking ALL his time! So, let's make a deal, when 3 more developers agree to help Guzzi out with everything involved with My Films already, THEN we can ask him to do all such things as well.

I'll try to add my config etc. today evening and I've got another issue about the TS files.
Is it possible to add TS files as standard movie file in AMCUpdater because it's the standard recording format of MediaPortal and I suppose that many people will use this.

Do you think the error is an issue with the media file info crapper and TS files?

I think we can do that - once we're sure it works flawless. Dadeo made some tests with ts-recordings and didn't get such errors - so we have to find what's happening on your machine.

I was already thinking about sich an issue - who knows ... - but I will do some debugging once I have the config you use. If I can reproduce it here, it is easy to find out.

"Well, I have to admit, that we missed testing this in beta phase, as noone was using it.
The installer is part of the MyFilms distribution and can be found in <mp-data>\Thumbs\MyFilms\AMCinstaller - so once you installed MyFilms on a HTPC, it's available.
There you find:
AMCUpdaterSetup.msi and setup.exe
and can install using "setup.exe" on any machine."

Thanks I found them and was able to install as stand alone app.

We also do not yet have any wiki page describing setup and options, as no config templates are there - it's just a plain standalone AMCupdater. You need to setup manually, as there is no autocreated configs from MyFilms loaded. I personally copy the autocreated configs from MyFilms and just adapt them to my needs.

I copied the scripts so they are now updated. In addition I copied AMCUpdater_DefaultSettings.xml to the coresponding MediaPortal folder on my laptop. ( I think that folder was originally created by MPTagThat) I pointed the standalone installation at the central database and is now able to see it from my laptop. I am not able to update it though. Am I missing something



Edit I got it to work I change the grabber script from IMDb.xml to IMDb-Full.xml
