We would like to support as many languages as possible in My Films. Unfortunately we have only been able to provide support for English, German, French, Italian and Spanish so far.

If you find any errors/corrections in these language files, or if you are able to translate the English strings file into your own language, please post the updates or new strings files here.

The strings files for My Films 5 are located in ...\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal\language\MyFilms folder. They are simple xml files that can be edited in any text editor.

    Your assistance is much appreciated!

    :D

I will have a look at spanish strings in GUI context later, but in the txt everything seems ok.

Here's my language file for hungarian users.

I noticed some items remain unlocalized:
    Menu (the title itself)
in Menu/Sort by: Country and Length
    in Menu: Switch View
    in Menu: Options
in Menu/Options/Global Updates: Incomplete movie data
in Menu/Options/About...: Version, Operations Mode and Background Process (and their values also)
    in Menu/Global Filters/Change minimum rating from/Set rating
in Details View: Trailer (label for availability)
    in Details View/Menu
    in Details View/Menu/Back
    in Details View/Menu/Trailers
    in Details View/Menu/Options
    in Details View/Menu/Previous
    in Details View/Menu/Next
After search, in list view: Selection <property> [*<property value>*]

I've found some great features while translating :) For example "Display options ..."

AW: Re: My Films 5 - Language/Strings Files

Thanks a lot for the translation - will be added to next release.

Here's my language file for hungarian users.

I noticed some items remain unlocalized:
    Menu (the title itself)
    should be that string:
    <String id="924">Menü</String>
in Menu/Sort by: Country and Length
sounds, like those are userdefined sort items. Check out your sort/search tab - you can set there a label to be shown.
    in Menu: Switch View
    in Menu: Options
    hmmm, should be those:
    <String id="457">N├®zetcsere</String>
    <String id="496">Opci├│k</String>
Anybody else having problems those translated strings of "lower values" not properly displayed?
If yes, I will have to change the IDs.
in Menu/Options/Global Updates: Incomplete movie data
is this one (missing translation in your file):
    <String id="10798717">Incomplete movie data</String>
in Menu/Options/About...: Version, Operations Mode and Background Process (and their values also)
I would prefer keeping those "untranslated" as it's only technical information and not used in normal operations.
    in Menu/Global Filters/Change minimum rating from/Set rating
    the menu entry is:
    <String id="10798693">Minimum ├®rt├®kel├®s be├íll├¡t├ísa err┼æl: '{0}'</String>
The headline in the rating dialog is:
    <String id="934">├ërt├®kel├®s megad├ísa</String>
    (comes from MP straings file)
in Details View: Trailer (label for availability)
Both Film and Trailer are currently hardcoded in the skin.
@Dadeo: Should we replace them with localized strings:
    We have one for Trailer:
    <String id="10798940">Trailer</String>
    We're missing one for "Film"

    in Details View/Menu
    in Details View/Menu/Back
    in Details View/Menu/Trailers
    in Details View/Menu/Options
    in Details View/Menu/Previous
    in Details View/Menu/Next
All those are using labels in the skin file.
@Dadeo: Is this a problem of MP hu language file?

After search, in list view: Selection <property> [*<property value>*]
That is indeed a code issue (hardcoded). I'll check and see, if I can change that for RC.

It's weird. I usually change language in configurator. But when I do it in MePo, most of above issues are gone, even the last one too, so it is not hardcoded.

    #2 and #4 are my bad :)

Really funny. I set my language in MePo, it's OK, but next time I start MP, lang will be english again.

Impossible - the one with "Selection " and property value IS hardcoded (and I fixed that for next version) - but there are different places - some had already been translated. Check out "search by properties" - this one was not...

Yes, the first 4 search option have translated output, the fifth remain hardcoded.
