I'm not seeing this. Can you provide addtional info?

1.) Are you starting in full screen mode or switching using alt-enter?

2.) Are all music screens unresponsive or only certain ones?

3.) Are you using the MCE skin included or another version of MCE?

    4.) Any other relevant info?

I would also be helpful if you could post a copy of the mediaportal.log; start MP, duplicate the freezing problem and exit/terminate MP.

I've had a similar issue when I raised the resolution on the visualisation in WMP. Is yours set at default or is it higher res?

I remember seeing that this should not be the case now, but maybe I'm wrong. Anyway, it's somewhere to start.

i actually get the same problem ohdarklord so your not alone, can also click F2 to get the menu up and then just close it down and it fixes it, the problem seems to be for some reason the cpu usage goes to 100 and you can't register any key strokes.

The only time i could fix it in the old days was change the desktop res to 800x600 , or it worked fine in win xp x64
