When I use MP to play my music files, many of them come up with 01, 02, etc as the start of the file name which throws off the alphabetical order. Additionally, many other simply come up as unknown.

I've used MediaMonkey to try and edit the ID3 tags so that would be fixed up reopening MP...however it makes no difference at all.

Can somebody tell me how to fix this?

As always, I appreciate all your help...this is a truly great product.

Good, that you used a program and updated your id3 tags.
This makes life a lot easier.

    1. After updating the tags, you need to rescan your Music Share, so that MP can grab the updated information.

    2. You may have a look at Configuration -> Music -> Music Sort
Here you can change which information is displayed.
The options in the combo "Sorting mode" refer to the corresponding part in MP.

    3. Now wheh entering the "My Music" section, change the View to "Artists2 and change the Sort to "Name" and you should see your collection presented in a very nice way.
