My Music Videos - V0.41

A plugin to display all of your music videos in MediaPortal with data from Last.FM.

READ ME: Before scanning files to DB make sure you run a parsing test. This will identify any issues the plugin has in grabbing artist and song names. Double clicking the file-name in the parsing test screen will allow you to rename the file so it will fit the expression you have provided.

Hi there and thanks for your work.

One of my early suggestions to jburnette is as follows:
Possibility to create a playlist that will include a specific track from a music DVD that is stored on hdd.

Example playlist:
MusicVideo1.avi
DVD1, track 5
MusicVideo2.avi
DVD2, track 10
etc...

Will it be possible? And if so, will you please include on your todo-list?

Hey rekenaar.

I will look at doing it. I dont know how id go about incorporating it.

Would people want to be able to scan iso's and grab artist and song info and have them in the database.

Or just on a case by case basis, select dvd, then select track?

It would be great to scan whole DVD as individual tracks to database, if possible.

As an interim, I may add a dvd section to the plugin, go there, select the dvd, then the track

May have to set it up manually. Im unsure wether the same playlist can play videos and iso's or vobs at the same time.... So you may either be watching videos or dvds but maybe not at the same time

Hey there. just built my first media centre on the weekend, I've got everything working pretty nicely with MP and MP-TV Series, I love the idea of being able to organize my music videos in the same way. I've installed this plug in and can use the importer GUI with no problems, the DB query function is smooth and works well so far.

Where I'm getting stuck is actually getting this to show up in media portal. Do I need to be running the Blue3Wide skin to get this to show? When I use the streamed MP editor to create a new .xml file i can't find the option to add this plugin.

I even looked in the plug-ins section of my GUI but it's not showing there either. i would love to be able to get this working not only so I can watch my clips but also to hopefully provide you with some useful feedback.

Hi sdub.

Currently this is a very early test of the plugin.

The current skin file is only for blue3wide.

I can get one up for streamed mp reasonably quickly. I probably should, since thats the skin I use.

Will post it here when its done.

Ok. Have done A skin for streamedmp.

Not entirely happy with it. But i'm out of time this afternoon, so will have to do for time being. It is at least functional
