I guess Frodo overlooked the changes I made in the languagefiles. I had to renumber the language strings to match the window id. There is a part that uses 10000 + windowid to figure out what string to use for the #currentmodule label.

BTW: Image retrieving is already functioning (for feeds that have an image and the user has not set an image in the settings). Try http://sourceforge.net/export/rss2_projsummary.php?group_id=107397 and don't specify an image. If you select this feed you will get the SF logo.

Deal is ok (is this for both Metal and Crystal?) The main reason I updated the skin was to have something to test with and save you some work.

What default icon are you talking about? I have submitted a full set of images with my patch to SF. I forgot to add the code for custom button images, so I submitted an extra .zip to fix that. So now the plugin uses "home-mynews-big.png" as background image, "homenewsnofocus.png" as nofocus button and "homenewsfocus.png" for a focused button. The default news icon in the menubar on the left is called news.png. At least this is what I submitted. I will check to see what ended up in CVS.

everything looks OK now. I had some problems updating, because anonymous CVS on SF lags some time behind.

skin has new tags in use for defining plugin graphics.
I'm talking about the icons in the listview.
All other sections (My music, My pictures, My video) show the default icon in front of each line of the list view. I would like to see this in News to.

List view looks incomplete now.

Also, when no feed is entered in setup, My News will crash when you open it.

a few things down

OK, I've added some error checking so that if there are no sites entered it doesn't bomb, and if the RSS feed is invalid, it won't show anything (Eventually I'll add an error message, but for now this will do).

I also worked on some refresh issues when adding and editing - changes you make should appear instantly if you are already on the My News screen (deleting already worked this way).

I'll take a look at the HTML issue tomorrow, and then maybe after that the OSD.

Hey Mario - were you gonna post some graphics for the background and the such?

all graphics were allready posted to frodo but he did not put them on the release.

I resent them to frodo yesterday so it should be up soon.
I'll ask frodo to make a new release of crystal today.

string missing

Mario - looks like the "Select Feed" string is missing from the strings.xml file in CVS. Wasn't sure if this was one of your many files you sent to Frodo, but I wanted to bring it to your attention

then please use the next available number
(which at the moment is 707)

Dont add any strings in the 10000- range

It was all working on my end.
Home is being rewritten @ the moment I will take that moment to post the complete skin to frodo.

This is the stuff you get when multiple people r working on 1 skin without having contact with eachother.

New Home is amazing btw.
