My Programs: Directory names (1 Viewer)

I wanted to let My Programs call winrar to extract archives of DVD's.
I created a directory cache, with as file folder the folder in which other folders, containing the archives.
On files I tried one, worked, OK. Me happy.
Then I went to mediaportal itself. To my suprise, suddenly, it didn't work. More exactly, the rar files weren't even visible.
Exept for one archive.
Once my brain activated, I noticed that the only difference was that the directory path to that archive contained no dots, while the rest did.
So I started changing some dir names and more archives come popping up.
While a great workaround for me, it might be worth mentioning that if the directory part of the filepath contains a dot (.), my programs in mediaportal will not "see" the file.
Dots in the filename itself are OK.
The test launch in setup is not bothered by this bug.

(and, do keep in mind, we're talking here)

Though I doubt the need, my setup:
