I've recently configured MP 2.2 with a few emulated games via the my programs options. The games are controlled via a wireless Logitech rumblepad, with each emulator controlling buttons and movement via their local configuration means.

How do i configure mediaportal to allow me to quit a game and return back? My system does not have a keyboard, or mouse connected. All control is done either via Haugpage remote or the gamepad

From initial testing , it appears both mame, and project64 exit when the ESC key is pressed. How can i map this to either the remote or preferably the gamepad. Or what method have other users configured to exit/quit a game launched via "my programs"

Not sure for certain as I don't use a gamepad, but try setup > Remote > Direct Input Devices; looks like there's some options for mapping etc in there.

Oh and on my hauppauge remote I use backup to (I think) to return to previous screen / exit current mode

You can add the "ESC key" action to your controller in MAME. You must create or edit a proflie for your controler. The control profiles are in a subfolder of MAME directory... for example C:\MAME32\ctrlr

I hope this help you! ;)
