I have noticed that when in My Radio (full screen), playing a DVB-T station, that the CPU usage is unusually high - 30 to 40%. When I minimise MediaPortal to the system tray, the CPU usage drops to less than 10% (typically around 5%).

This seems very odd, as there are no "animations" in the My Radio home screen, so I don't know what could be causing the high CPU usage...

Here's a view of the CPU usage:-

CPU usage is 30% to 40%, until I minimised MP, then it dropped to less than 10%...

you can try to dissable the DVB-EPG Graber which is also causing high cpu usage atm.

or this is related to the MyMusic high CPU usage which has been fixed by ronilse yesterday. this fix will be added to cvs soon.

The DVB-EPG grabber is already disabled, so I don't think that is the cause.

Yes, I think it is related, as you suggest. I will try the ronilse fix to see if that is the cure....:)

After testing with the fix for bug# 652, I don't think that this is a bug, afterall.

The CPU usage is very similar (at around 35%) for both playing music files and for playing DVB radio, which makes sense.....well, it makes sense to me, anyway. :D
