My Radio Thumbnails (1 Viewer)

I've created thumbnails for my XM Radio channels. However, the "now playing" thumbnail in the lower left corner is not showing. What I have done is to swipe the image from XM Radio's website, resize to 150x150, then save as jpg in the thumbs\Radio folder. It works great for the station list. But the image at the bottom is empty. See attached screenshot. Let me know if you have any ideas. Thanks.

I've got the same "problem", altho im using the Mediaportal Radio section to stream my channels, the images show fine on browsing, but don't show up in the "now playing" field.

I've tride to put the images in the thumbs database folder in "document and settings" and the streams folder, also tride jpg and png files with no result.

Same thing with me. Tried several times, renaming, clearing skin cache etc. just can't get it to show up.

I just started working on the MediaPortal MyRadio stuff yesterday, and have loaded a bunch of streaming stations. BUT I don't see any way to include the image. How does it get loaded, or where do I put it manually?

I have reported this already in testers forum, also if you select Radio guide and try doing a recording, which shows multiple shows to be recorded, no icons shows up there, nothing in mantis for this, so will give it a push

Nothing likely to happen till 1.1 though, so do not hold your breath.

AH.. ok, a sanity check is always a good thing. Lots of moving pieces with this system, and thought I might have missed something. I will put the images for MyRadio on the backburner and move on to other things..

Ray, is there any development on this issue? I can't see anything in the Roadmap, though I did discover this issue has cropped up and been 'fixed' twice before by Frodo and Gemx in 2006 and 2007.

Hi All,

is this bug still open?

Because I can't see the ragio logo in now playing yet.
I mean if I play a digital radio the logo is fine, if I try to play a streamed radio (setup in configuration tv, with web address) I don't.
I currently use mediaportal 1.1 with last svn.

For all those following this thread, Romuz submitted a fix to TVPlugins.dll which is available in No displayed thumbnail for currently playing radio. It was entered in Mantis Issue 2908, passed internal testing and chemilli has committed it to SVN 25864. It will be available in RC4. At last!
