    Hmm,

Looks like the parser for the mtsa.exe is broken for the Netherlands. I'll play around and see if I can get it working. If not, I'll contact Jim, the author of mtsa.exe, and see if he can help

    UPDATE::
I've played with the code for the Netherlands parser in the mtsa.exe code. I've pinpointed where it fails, I'll see what I can do to fix it up.

Ouch - I just found my htpc has been chewing through bandwidth the last week. I used 20GB on a 2GB PAYG account (I'll be billed for the extra) :( .
AFAICT the showtimes plugin is constantly downloading/refreshing as soon as I start MP.
I don't blame the dev - I should run some monitor - but thought I'd give a heads up in case anyone else is affected.

    :sorry:

I did mention that the better quality you select for posters and trailers, the bigger the download. Especially if you are doing HD trailers (I've some that are about 150MB a piece). Streaming is on my list of things to do. How many theaters are you downloading showtimes for? What location are you in?

What are your settings for the download? Do you have it set to refresh upon start of MP?

Personally, I download every 5 days asthe movies in my area don't change too much (there usually is one or two new movies per week which would require trailer downloads).

    skin mod

    Hi Folks

Firstly, let me say this is a cool plugin!

I'm looking at modding the ShowTimesGUI.xml to work with the PM3 skin, and have noticed a couple of references to PNGs I can't find anywhere in my MP setup -
    icon-folder.png
    movie_info.png

Anybody have these files they could post? Not even sure what/if any impact these have on the skin - just started playin around with this today.

    cheers

The PNG files are in the media folder in the skin. So for the MePo Grey Wide skin, there is a folder called Media and in there is the png's you are looking for. It should be the same for the other skins too.

cheers Falkyre - I'd already looked there but they don't exist. Not in any of my skin media folders.

Anyway, no biggie. I think I figured out why PM3 was screwy - looks like the PM3 skin is missing 6 of the common.xxxx.xml files (ie - common.facade.pictures.xml, etc), and the 4 it does have are a bit dated.

Can be fixed by copy the 10 files from the bluetwo or bluetwo wide folder into the Project Mayhem 3 folder.

You may then have to tweak the ShowTimesGUI.xml a little to make all the elements look right. I've attached mine in case anybody uses the PM3 skin. I've optimised it for my display, which is 16:9, so no guarantees!

    cheers

No worries - I'm just confused as to what was going on.

    I have poster qual:High Trailer qual:High
I have remove old media enabled.
I have download extra details from IMDB enabled.
Theater locations are Bristol (BS37), UK
Grabber is set to download each 1 day,
I have force download on MP start disabled, and Notify in MP disabled.
    I have debug On enabled.

Movie trailers are coming in at about 20MB each - there are 22 downloaded in total since 11th Feb. That's <0.5GB. The file modification dates are all the 11th Feb, plus 1 from 14th, 5 from the 15th.
The last mtsa.log shows the grab of movies from my local (3) cinemas (This is Bristol, UK). It found 'existing media' in my download folder, so shouldn't have been downloading more. mtsa.exe was running when I saw the traffic. And from MP startup.
I think it was just refreshing constantly - but not actually downloading (much) new.
The 20GB in 5 days equates to about 50KB/s. So isn't that much, just sustained.
Ok, I just re-enabled the plugin - and made sure I twiddled all the dialog settings - the 'grabber' time etc. Haven't changed anything though.
Now it looks more sane - i.e. doesn't start grabbing as soon as I start MP.
I'll keep a close eye on it!.

    Ho all.
Was wondering if anyone is having a problem where when you enter the show time plugin inside MP. and you select show theaters. It hangs MP.
I also notice a partial built form that comes up just before MP starts. It says Properties Browser, but its only partialy formed. MP then starts and I don't see it again.

    running the latest SVN.
