perfect - now working! doh! I was about to try reinstalling MP :)

Okay, I'll rephrase that - its working much better, however listening to radio channels, and occasionally TV it appears as if the video is not being streamed quick enough, theirs brakes/gaps in the audio, and video glitches ever so often. Though not all of the time.

Still keep up good work!

It can be quite a high bitrate and you will get that if your network can't keep up or the tvserver computer HDD can't keep up (if my laptop can do HD with its old 5400rpm drive you shouldn't have a problem).

I wouldn't be surprised at all if 100mbit had issues with a full HD stream
SD shouldn't be a issue (I can do that over 54mbit wireless fine).

You might want to try pausing the stream a second so the tvserver can build up a bigger buffer. The times set for the delay were the lowest I could do without any stuttering but I haven't been able to do anything except localhost tests (gona see if I can run the tvserver on windows 7 and if it will detect my tv tuner).

This is on the same PC, so no network involved - SteamTV streamed fine even over wireless, but will try what you suggested. Thanks

    Any news about the plugin?
Is there a way to get the sources, so we can help to nail down the errors?

    thx

News... Well I have groups working in the test build and I was starting to figure out transcoding.

I see no reason to keep the source code to myself so I guess I just need to figure out a way to put it online for anyone interested (ideas welcome).

    Hey Valk,
    very cool. Thumbs up.

I suggest to keep the versioning in your hands. Improvements should be reported to you. Otherwise we will have several versions out there with different functionality and different bugs.
    Thats unsupportable :)
    Just my two cents.

    My thoughts also.

I guess I'll have to clean some of the code up now so its sort of respectable :p

code.google.com is pretty popular. There are already a few MP projects up there. MP TV-Series, Moving Pictures and StreamedMP are the ones I know of.

Well google code it is then :).

    mpstreamtv - Google Code

Give me a little time to setup the project on there but that will be StreamTv's new home.
