ok, I'll try a few things here and let you know if I figure it out.

I'll update the test copy tomorrow and get you to try that too.

    Cheers,

    (error log only).

I don't get this ""irserver\client03"". What is "client03"? I only have TVe2 and no TV-server (althoug my HTPC is in network).

Do you think I could succeed with TVe3?

As last time: Learning OK (althoug difficult - probably disturbance) and testing is OK.

Thanks for taking the time, Aaron.

The error you're getting is because the TV2 Blaster plugin can't open a communications pipe (named pipe) to talk to the IR Server. I don't know what could be causing this ...

It could be a firewall issue, or maybe you've got named pipes disabled (I've seen some "security" software offer to disable "IPC", so maybe you've done that) or it could be something else altogether.

Are you running an English language version of Windows XP?

Are you logged in as an administrator?

Actually, what I'll do ... I'll make a special copy of the plugin that will provide some more useful information about what is causing the problem and get you to run that for me ...

I'll post back here within 24 hours.

    Cheers,

    Thanks for replying, Aaron.

    - Only XP firewall. No AV or other security software. All that is installed is XP, MP, drivers and codecs. Connected through WiFi and sharing some folders. Workgroup named JEG

"Are you running an English language version of Windows XP?"
    XP pro SP"- english

"Are you logged in as an administrator?"
    Yes. One account onyl.

"Actually, what I'll do ... I'll make a special copy of the plugin that will provide some more useful information about what is causing the problem and get you to run that for me ..."
    Thanks a billion!

    UPDATE:
Seems I can get it working using the MCE replacement driver for 0.2.2+SVN on 0.2.3RC1.

I don't really "need" the IR Suite, so everything is OK for me. If you'd like me to help you debug this, I'll do whatever I can (as long as I somehow can save the replacement settings).

Well, It's a pretty serious bug, so I may call on your help soon...

I'm just juggling a couple of projects at the moment, but I should have a test copy for you to try in a couple of days.

    Thanks,

Well, I currently have the MCE Replacement plugin changing my channels fine, so I am happy :D.

Slap me a PM or post here if you need me to test something.
