Synopsis::

The 'My Trailers' plugin does not seem to work for me. when i click on a trailer to be played mediaportal will display the green rotating circle icon in the middle of the screen and then will not play the trailer. i do not even get a black screen like some other people n the forum. i get nothing! any help?

I have lots of free space on the disc so thats not a problem (73gb) and as far as i know all drivers are up to date. i do have a firewall but i have allowed mp access to the net and can confirm that this works with the weather plugin and the fact that i can view descriptions of trailers. but not the actual trailer.

the error.log file is as follows:

How many trailers did you try? Seems like there's a problem with the (back)slash in the movie's name. Try another trailer, please.

well i tried another trailer and i get the same result. there is no error.log this time but after viewing the mediaportal log and copying the url into wmp i get the error:

"Windows Media Player cannot play the file because the specified protocol is not supported. If you typed a URL in the Open URL dialog box, try using a different transport protocol (for example, "http:" or "rtsp:")."

the url i copied was:
mms://wmcontent75.bcst.yahoo.com/pub06root4/Pub06Share14/yahoomovies/11/26832061.wmv?StreamID=26832061&b=639r4gd1i7uth433192d0&s=1808730660&Segment=169281&CG_ID=1449459

i then pasted the same url into media player classic which played the trailer happily. so any ideas?
