Hi,


Finally i start builing my htpc, and as the 1st step i bougth a tv card Hauppauge WinTV-HVR-1300 to try MediaPortal on my personal desktop, if everthing goes ok i build a media center,

My first "big issue" is with "My TV", i had scan the channels with MP no prob but when i go to watch them on My TV interface after i select the channel another window opens ( with the title ActiveMovie Window ) and the the channel video plays on that window ...

is very annoying because is like a external tv, i can't even return to MP TV section!

anyone ?

Hi,
I had the same problem.

Seems this series of cards were not DirectX 9 compatible so give this issue.

I replaced my card with a cheap Nvidia one that was DX9 compatible and the problem went away.

anyway on the htpc case i will use a board with geforce 9400 igp card
