Sorry folks but is beginning to piss me off .. I have bought an PVR 350 yesterday and it works fine with the WinTV2k app but I want to use the more advanced features in other software.

I have tryed Showshifter but it didn't work. Havin real problems to get channels up and running. It also took heavy cpu usgae as it was not possible to move the mouse anymore!

Tryed SageTV, Same hastle with the channels, Used Freqcopy to get the win2k channels in place but Sage doesn't display the channels. Even with selecting netherlands and T31-0 in the registry. @%#%^

Now i'm trying Mediaportal and .. OW yes ..the My TV isn't showing any channels while it displays very nicely using the autotune and map funtion and have setup the correct channel freq and selected available channels to my PVR 350. I can really use some help here as i'm close to givin up.

Also, It seems that i can't turn on or off the TV button in My TV. It doesn't do anything when i click. The dot does not show

I think that you need to apply SP2 (and all the other Windows updates) to your Windows XP.....that should make it work for you.... :)

I think we need to make the SP2 angle very clear somewhere, because every day it seems someone comes along who hasn't read the requirements carefully or doesn't want to install SP2 for some reason.

Exactly the same issue here, but with all requirements installed.
If any solutions is found... please post it also @

    Hi Diem,

the error you posted is not the reason. I have a PVR 350 too and its working with this error without problems. First give SP2 a shot!

    These settings work for me:

    Video Codec: MPEG2Dec
    Audio Codec: MPEG/DTS/AC3
    Renderer: VMR9
    Drivers from http://www.shspvr.com
