    Hi there,
I purchased a signal booster from Dick Smith electronics a few months ago. It pluged directly into a power point and had a gain adjust knob. It supposedly boosts the signals by up to 20db.
It helped with my signal strength problem.
Here is a link for the device I purchased:

One thing about boosters is that they boost everything, including interferance from other sources (eg: motors, your neighbours CB radio etc) so if you problems noise rather than strength this isn't going to help.
Another thing, while this one worked well for DVB-T analogue may be a different story

    cheers

    Jamie

That's okay, because Dick Smith has refund policy :)
I tried out an in-door antenna with them. Even with the built-in booster, it couldn't get better images on my analogue card. There was no problem to return it on the next day.

I don't worry about analogue TV since DVB-T can fill my 16:9 screen.
Btw, I think my card has very bad interference. The antenna out which goes to my TV is useless, because the analogue image is so bad when the PC is on. Now I'm using a T-adapter to split the antenna input (I took that off when I was testing the signal). The analogue image is still not good, but better than goes through the card. Btw, I need that analogue input to my TV because I can't expect that some of my old visitors (e.g. my mother-in-law) to be able to navigate MP :)
