I purchased a signal booster from Dick Smith electronics a few months ago. It pluged directly into a power point and had a gain adjust knob. It supposedly boosts the signals by up to 20db.
It helped with my signal strength problem.

One thing about boosters is that they boost everything, including interferance from other sources (eg: motors, your neighbours CB radio etc) so if you problems noise rather than strength this isn't going to help.
Another thing, while this one worked well for DVB-T analogue may be a different story
