My TV remote can control MP! (1 Viewer)

Hi

I use the Hauppauge silver remote (45 buttoms) and it operates MP fine. But I have noticed that when I use my TV remote (Prosonic) then this remote can also operates MP.

I know that the MP (Hauppauge) remote uses RC5 code and have an address byte = 31 and that the prosonic remote have address code 0.

Does MP remotes software not look on the address value? Or is this a bug?

Is there a way that I can make a work-around or do I have something unmoral in my setup?

Oh forgot to mention I use MP 0.2.2.0 with SVN--04-03-2007--01-05-Rev13781

Remove the 21-button section in your Hauppauge HCW.xml in your InputDeviceMappings folder completely.

That old remote has the same commands like e.g. your TV set. As the mapping file serves for 3 remotes in one, that problem caught you.
