My TVSeries guide ? (1 Viewer)

Can anyone please point me to an idiot-proof guide to this plugin ?
Seems very complicated to use and i am having trouble getting my head around it all.

In particular, what type of file do my episodes need to be in ? .avi .vob .mpeg etc..

What the hell is all this expression / rules stuff all about ?

Its very easy, dont worry too much about all the configuration that can be done its only there so you can tweak it.

First thing to do is this:
1. Open MP Setup
2. Open the configuration for MP-TVSeries
3. Click on the Import Settings Tab
4. Enter a Path in 'Import Paths' where your TV shows live
5. Click on the Start Import Button

Sit back and wait while it scans the directory specified in Step 4. It may take a while depending on how many shows you got.

The File extension of your shows doesn't matter, all you need to make sure is that your tv shows have series names, season and episode number details in the filename e.g. ghost.whisperer.s01e01.avi. Usually when you download shows they are already similar to this.

When import is done you can see your tv shows in the Details tab as well as in 'My TV Series' within media portal.

Thanks for the help, but why / where would i download the shows ?

I am backing up my entire DVD Box set collection from scratch to .avi ( DivX ) format.
