Hi,

navigation in DVD menus (left / right) with the Hauppauge remote also calls the increasing time jump. (15s / 30s / 1m / etc).

- mediaportal-cvs-03-27-2006--17-20.rar
- start MP
- start a DVD
- browse the DVD menu with the Hauppauge remote (left / right)
- you can see the OSD coming up with the time jump
- if you choose a menupoint for a movie scene, the scene directly jumps the selected time
- tested with both silver remotes
- this does not happen with keyboard browsing

Does this happen with all DVDs or only with a few? you know we have allready encountered dvd specific issues it.

did some tests. Seems only to encouter on DVDs which play little movies in the DVD menu.
- Spiderman I+II
- Alien
- MIB

DVDs which have a static menu, did not show this issue.
- T2 (Ultimate Edition)
- X-Men
- Herr der Ringe - Die Gefährten (Normal Edition)

You know we have allready encountered dvd specific issues it.

Oh, yes. I can confirm. Testing only these 7 DVDs was a real pain.

MPEG2Dec:
Often Black picture. Mostly around the start and main menu. But I could hear that the DVD played normaly. So I jumped into the film and from there back to the main menu -> no black picture.

Was somewhat better. I had at least halve of the screen a picture. But the picture quality of MPEG2Dec is much better.
