My Videos, Music, Pictures ERRORS (1 Viewer)

First, my videos will not display itself on startup as anything other than list mode. Even though I have tried icons and filmstrip as the default view.

Next, my videos, music, pictures are very slow, entering and browsing around. Logs indicate some errors.

Even creating a fresh database for it hasn't helped. Can anyone else confirm similar issues?

do you use any community plugins / skins?

have you don a clean installation of MediaPortal 0.2.3.0 RC2?
which means deleted the MediaPortal fodler from your old installation after uninstalling?

I made sure it wasn't skin related before I posted by trying the blue two skin first.

I do use most of the more popular community plugins.
When I installed RC2, I simply did an uninstall of RC1, then installed over top. I did not go and remove all the content of the folder trying to keep things like thumbs, etc.

I suppose if nothing is obvious in the logs, then it must be something related to either a plugin or some leftover from pervious install. I will try to track it down.

I finally tracked it down, in the end deleting the file called FolderDatabase3.db3 fixed it. The default view is applied, and no errors in the logs.
