My videos not marking as seen if using external player (1 Viewer)

When i watch movies in MP with the internal player, files i already have seen are "marked" or greyed out so i can easily see what has been watched, but when using an external player this does not happen

The same problem here which is a shame. For what it's worth this feature is working with TVShows plugin using an external player.
