When i stop playback from videos with video_ts/audio_ts (dvd format) then mediaportal has a black screen and i must restart it.

i added information ... sorry ... i noticed my problem since i started with MP before one year ... everything else is very good ... thats my only problem .. and it is only by video_ts (*.vob files) ... all other file types there is no problem.

i now updated my profile ... hope everything is correct now ...

Logs would help

Are you using EVR as directshow renderer (MPConfig, expert mode enabled, directshow filters) and make sure Aero is enabled.

hy ... thanks for your idea .. i has enabled EVR and by television and other movies there is even no problem .. only by video_ts files when i stop, that in the left corner where the video plays minimized there is a black rectangle that dont go away anymore ....

when i put the video render settings to VMR9 it works properly ... so i put that to VMR9 ... i think there is a little bug in the EVR (but there is the message that is experimentell ... i can say it works properly perfekt, only that tiny problem is there with EVR ... it is no hang up or so ... its only the black rectangle that dont go away when the video plays minimized ... and in fullscreen mode .. there is the rectangle over the whole screen so that only a restart helps because you hear the steps when you klick something in it... but you dont see anymore what you do )

I cannot reproduce that bug with EVR. Would be nice to seeMediaPortal.log to be able to tell what is causing the bug (maybe destroying the directshow graph fails?).

the fault occurs by 3 systems i now ... therefore i wrote it in here because i thougt that is reproduce.

Go to your start menu\team-mediaportal\mediaportal logs collector, use button one to get rid of any previous files, recreate your issue using MP then used the advanced + option on the forum to upload the zipped file and attach it to your post.

i make the logs ...

EVR:
first: starting MP -> goto my videos -> select a movie with video_ts format ... play some seconds ... press exit button -> then the movie plays futher in mimimized mode in the left corner -> press button B (stop) -> i have the black rectangle.

i noticed the button stop (B) does not go in fullscreen mode, i had to go out with exit so that the movie plays minimized and then press stop (B).

VMR9:

Normal, you cannot stop fullscreen video of any type.

Hopefully tourette will see what is happening with evr, as have no idea what the error means, certainly do not see this on my 7900gs with EVR using the very latest Nvidia drivers and newest directx update (August 2008).
Have you changed any Nvidia settings that may account for this, maybe reinstall drivers after using a driver cleaner.
