When I try and go to the My Weather page, it gives the error "Bad or missing query parameter". I tried for three seperate cities: Quebec City, Toronto and Chicago.

I tried modifying the few parameters that are in the weather setup page. I changed around the temperature units and the wind speed units. Even after having changed these around, I get the same message.

The only unusual thing about my setup is that I have a static IP address because DHCP doesn't seem to work well across my WGA11B. All other IP services work well, such as HTTP, SSH etc... so I do not think it is a problem with this. If it was anything but IP it could not get past my router.

Any ideas as to why I am getting this error?

Thanks,

David

This is a known problem in RC1 and has been fixed in one of the SVNs although i dont know which one.

I upgraded to svn 19158 and it sorted the problem for me

Hi there: I'm using 0.2.3.0 Final, and I am getting the same error. Any ideas what can I do, without having to install RC1.
Not very keen at upgrading to RC1 cos quite a few of my plugins won't work.

Hi wlgspotter

I think I read somwhere that the weather plugin stopped working due to a change in the website that provides the weather data and not because of MP. Therefore I can only assume that the weather plugin will now be broken in all versions of MP before the fix was added (please correct me if im wrong...anyone!!!).

If this is the case then your only options are to either upgrade MP or hope that somebody releases a patch to fix the weather for all older versions. As far as I am aware no such pacth exists at the moment.

Sorry I can't help more
