In the features page, regarding MyDVD, it says;

"On Screen Display (OSD) for: Pause, Rewind, FastForward, Stop, Mute, Bookmarks, Switching Audio Streams/Subtitle languages... "

I have a MS MCE 2005 remote, and this lacks "subtitle" and "language" buttons, that many stand-alone DVD remotes have to change this.
Instead, I was hoping that when you press the "i" (as in "information") a would get the choice of perhaps "Next audio stream" and "Next subtitle language"

How do I get the OSD to show this? Can I do it with my remote?

I know it can be done by going back to the root menu of the DVD and choosing from there, but it would be nice to be able to switch "on the fly", as you can in other software platers such as PowerDVD.

Tips, hints appreciated...

/Erik

I sat a bit closer to the TV yesterday and popped ina DVD with subtitles. When i pressed the "i" button I noticed a smaller icon that apperantly switched subtitle language. I'll try to remember to insert a multilingual or DD5.1 & DTS DVD and see if I can't choose language (audio stream) in the same way.

Please feel free to post if you already know how to switch audio stream with the MCE 2005 remote and the MP standard DVD player.

(Note to self - first try hard at home, THEN post...)

I am using the Hauppauge remote myself, so I don't know if this also applies to MCE remote. But on my Hauppauge you use the colored buttons (european remote, buttons made for teletext) to do this. Red = switch from fullscreen to not minimised, the other buttons switch audio, subtitles and aspect ratio.

Thanks for the hints.
In case someone want's to try this themselves here are what the coloured teletext buttons on a MCE 2005 remote do when playing a DVD within MP;

Red = Toggle fullscreen / windowed mode
Green = Switch audio track
Yellow = Siwtch subtitle track
Blue = Change Apect Ratio

I'll give the "A" and "I" keys a shot as well, but I'm sure they work...

Again, thanks.
