Is the a way to change the sound MyMail is playing when new mail arrives?
Would be cool if a small window pops up with the sender of the mail when getting new mail.

I was looking for support on the myMail plugin myself. However, I found no current thread on this.

As a former Meedio User I would definitely appreciate if there was a way to send mails as well - nothing fancy just plain text via smtp. Would love it!

Meedio also had a notify on the home scrren indicating the number of new mails.

Any help or discussion welcome...

BTW: I know everybody nagging is asked to do a little prgramming himself. Unfortunately, I'm a complete dummy at C++ or whatever it takes... Just loving the looks and feels of MediaPortal and have been using it for while. Really great stuff here.

I doubt Agree will continue the support of his plugin. This is an interim period where on one side you have a stable but unmaintained plugin and and the other an upcoming new messaging plugin, with no release date yet (https://forum.team-mediaportal.com/showthread.php?t=6374). Please be patient.
