I use iTunes to keep my music library in order, including embedding album cover art in the MP3 files. In MyMusic in MP I have it set to look in my iTunes library folder for my music but I don't let MyMusic edit the files or folder structure at all.
Recently I've started noticing that the album art seems to have disappeared from some (or in some cases, all) tracks in an album. The only apps that ever play any of the files are iTunes (on my main windows desktop install, XP Pro x64 edition) and MediaPortal (on it's own, dedicated XP x86 SP2 install on another partition).
My question is, are there any circumstances under which MyMusic will remove the embedded album art from an mp3 file and if so, is it possible to defeat this behaviour?
