Hi,
Please explain in steps what we have to enable/do to get this problem?
Using My Music very much every day & have not seen this, so steps to reproduce it's necessary
Select BlueTwo skin (never saw the problem with other skins)
Select BASS player
Start MediaPortal
Play a song
The result is the flickering black line in the upper left corner. The first screenshot shows how it looks (I draw the line myself because I could not grab it with printscreen).
When using the internal dshow player the result is different (other steps the same). In this case the album art is hidden behind a black square (second screenshot).
Regarding the flickering black line (actually a box) - Is the mini viewer black before (or during) the appearance of the black line. If so, it could be an initialization of the mini-viewer. I have seen something similar with a plugin on a slower machine.
I suppose that the mini viewer is the one in which the album art is displayed. It is not black before or during the flinkering of the black line. What I just discovered is that when I pause the music the black line disappears but the album art becomes hidden behind a black square (about the same as the second screenshot).
Hi,
If i disable viz then i have a flickering window (I always called this a child of the preview window), the window occurs on all skin so guess it's a deeper issue here, if you run MP in windowed mode & keep music playing & use the exit to close MP you see it clearer in upper left corner. We have had this issue earlier & Bavarian fix it then, will have a chat with him, to see if he can reproduce & fix it.
Have this here too, entries in the errorlog:
2007-03-22 08:46:50.984375 [ERROR][MPMain]: Exception Rendering the Vizualisation: System.InvalidOperationException: Das Objekt wird bereits an anderer Stelle verwendet.
bei System.Drawing.Image.get_RawFormat()
bei System.Drawing.Graphics.IgnoreMetafileErrors(Image image, Int32& errorStatus)
bei System.Drawing.Graphics.DrawImage(Image image, Int32 x, Int32 y)
bei System.Drawing.Graphics.DrawImageUnscaled(Image image, Int32 x, Int32 y)
bei MediaPortal.Visualization.VisualizationWindow.RenderVisualization(Graphics g)
It's gone after restarting MP. The way to reproduce it: Start Music -> play any song -> stop Music -> start TV -> watch any channel -> stop TV -> go to Music -> play any song = flickering appears
