Steps to reproduce:
- start MP, go to MyMusic
- change to folder view, if not already
- change to interpret view
- change back to folder view

Now all times are stated in seoncds (e.g. 317) instead of min:sec like "5:17".

Confirmed here. I followed your every step, and I now have the time showing up in seconds. Unfortunatly, i am not a dev!

Do you this have something to do with the fact that, when in artist view, the label displays the number of songs (which is an integer) instead of the time ? Then when you go back the time is actually displayed as a int ? I dunno.

I can confirm this error. I uploaded a solution to sourceforge yesterday, so hopefully a real dev will pickup it up and implement it in a svn .
