When I do a "create thumbnails in My Pictures, every folder get a folder.jpg. And thats normal...

But the folder.jpg is just a meaningless blue "picture", no preview of pictures inside the folder itself. Like the thumbs.db generates a preview of max 4(?) pictures, MP generates a folder.jpg which is only blue. See the attached picture(folder.jpg)

No matter how many pictures the folder contains, the folder.jpg only become blue!

I'm running latest SVN(from today and back to 02.1.00 build have been tested with same result!)

Bug or is it something wrong with my configuration?

I have tested at least 7-8 different jpg files, at least are they generated with different digital cameras or scanned images. And therefore different resolutions and sizes. So I don’t think it has anything to do with corrupted jpg files, and I have also tested browsing with MP from different locations such as NAS devices and local devises. Always with the same results!

krl69 do you get the error messages in your log files? I'm sure the jpg files I'm using are OK, I think that the reported errors are wrong/caused by some other problem. I've got a stack of folders with jpgs from various cameras and they all hav this problem. Also an earlier version of mp worked fine on the same image files...

Hi krl69! Not sure if I mentioned it but I had my logging level set to debug. Not sure which level means you get the errors reported. Did you have debug set?
